The program mission is graduated designers with an excellence capable in the professional field of furniture design sciences, production, adept in dealing with industrial problems, and social development aspects.

Strive to leadership through education and research in the field of furniture design and production at the local and international levels.

. - Offer integrated education environment

- Develop student's academic integrated calibers (theoretic and practical).

- Develop designer's concepts in the field of furniture design, to increase his competition abilities.

-Maintain heritage and origin culture, as well as developing national design concepts and criteria.

-Prepare a student who is capable for dealing with different processing technologies, weather traditional or advanced.

-Develop scientific research on furniture design and production.

-The methodology of teaching in the program is based on an applied and scientific study in the field of furniture design & production, through cooperation agreements with the most important companies & furniture factories in Egypt.                        

- Program graduates can complete their post studies for achieving a master's degree or PHD throw the post graduate programs in Interior Design and Furniture Department at Faculty of Applied Arts, Helwan University, or the equivalent of the same academic degree from the other universities in the world.

There are a lot of fields of work for Program graduates for examples: -

1- local and international furniture design companies & factories.

2- Consulting offices in the field of architecture or Interior Design& furniture.

3-They able to establish their own companies, offices, factories or furniture showrooms, because they study courses related to project management, marketing and laws.
