Crisis and Disaster Management Unit
The Crisis and Disaster Management Unit is a specialized organizational entity aimed at enhancing safety and security within the college community through proactive planning, training, and raising awareness of prevention mechanisms and appropriate responses during crises and disasters. The unit follows a scientific methodology focused on ensuring the safety of facilities and equipment, developing the necessary skills to face potential risks, and cooperating with relevant authorities to achieve an effective response.
Unit Objectives:
Safety Assurance: Ensure the safety of facilities and safety equipment within the college.
Awareness and Training: Prepare students, faculty members, and administrative staff to deal with crises such as fires, fainting, injuries, and climate changes.
Emergency Management: Provide hands-on training in evacuation procedures, use of fire extinguishers, and handling emergency cases (such as choking or burns).
Environmental and Health Awareness: Highlight sustainability and public health issues by celebrating international days for water, health, and Earth, with a focus on resource conservation and environmental protection.
Health Monitoring: Collaborate with the Ministry of Health and the health administration to provide awareness services and health check-ups for the college community.
